請不要忘記他的名字！華語戲迷稱為「木匠君」的 Earl Carpenter，將於本年 2015 年 5 月 12 日再度重回 Claude-Michel Schönberg 與 Alain Boublil 共同製作的《孤星淚》音樂劇。木匠君將會取代於 5 月 10 日辭演的 Will Swenson，木匠君上年夏季也曾在 Will Swenson 短暫離開《孤》時擔演其 Javert 角色的替補。

熟悉木匠君的朋友們，應該會記得當年木匠君夥拍東尼獎提名人 Ramin Karimloo（飾演 Valjean）一起在《孤》的多倫多製作。木匠君首先在 1996 年英國倫敦西區 the Palace Theatre《孤》劇內飾演 ABC 配角 Courfeyrac，2008 年《孤》劇轉至 the Queens Theatre 上演後，木匠君接演著名的 Javert 一角，英國二十五周年劇場紀念版巡演亦同樣選為 Javert。2010 年於倫敦 O2 體育館公演的二十五周年紀念音樂會，木匠君則飾修道院內的主教。

其他木匠君有份投身於倫敦西區、英國及歐洲的製作，包括歌聲魅影（The Phantom of the Opera）、貝隆夫人（Evita）、搖滾萬歲（We Will Rock You）、Zorro The Musical、日落大道（Sunset Boulevard）、美女與野獸（Beauty and the Beast）、秘密花園（The Secret Garden）、風流寡婦（The Merry Widow）、Between the Lines 與 The Witches of Eastwick（紫屋魔戀）。

由 James Powell 與 Laurence Connor 重新指導的《孤》製作，現於 the Imperial Theatre 上演。現時選角包括 Ramin Karimloo（飾 Valjean）、Samantha Hill（飾 Cosette）、Chris McCarrell（飾 Marius）、Wallace Smith（飾 Enjolras）、Erika Henningsen（飾 Fantine）、Brennyn Lark（飾 Eponine）、Gavin Lee（飾 Thenardier）與 Rachel Izen（飾 Madame Thenardier）. Alfie Boe 將會於 9 月 1 日接替 Ramin Karimloo 重演 Valjean。
