一到年末，聖誕音符隨街飄揚。不過每年不是 Jingle Bells，就是 We Wish You A Merry Christmas，實在有點了無新意。再加上上星期在聖詩會獻唱了多首香港人少聽的聖誕詩歌，所以是時候動筆寫兩篇非主流的聖誕歌，第一篇將會介紹癡婦從初中開始聽的外國兒童聖誕歌集的（常見？）五首曲目，讓大家看看感受外國小朋友的聖誕節是怎樣的。明天將會介紹另外五首傳統聖誕歌，讓大家多開眼界。

據維基百科，原名為《Carol of the Drum 鼓之頌》的歌曲，旋律改編自捷克頌歌，歌詞則改編自12世紀法國傳說《Le Jongleur de Notre Dame》，原故事講述以打鼓為生的雜耍小男孩進入修道院後，因為窮困沒有禮物放在馬利亞的石像前，只好獻鼓技為禮。雖然修道院裡的僧侶認為他褻瀆神明，但是石像竟然變成真人，並且親自祝福這位小男孩。
