打頭陣的是這首 Twelve Days of Christmas。寫文之前癡婦向身邊的老哥、小妹、朋友、同事們做過了一個小調查，全部人看名字都不知道是什麼來的，但一聽了旋律以後，100% 的回應都是說「有聽過耶」！（癡婦最初應該是從某百貨公司聖誕大減價電視廣告聽到這歌！）
據維基百科，這歌源於一首沒有旋律的（可能是法文的）歌謠，並於1780年在英國出版。之後才有人把歌謠作為歌詞，套入民謠旋律，而且列入羅德民謠大全 (Roud Folk Song Index)，編號68。（看過歌詞以後，完全覺得是媽媽們給小孩學英文的兒歌。）歌詞內容圍繞十二日聖誕節期傳統，從聖誕節（12月25日）到 1月5日（三賢士來朝日）的十二天，西方人習慣在這期間互贈禮物，這首歌就根據贈禮的習俗寫了十二種禮物。至於這些禮物的含意，可以參考這個網站。

看完名字完全沒有印象？放個小提示吧，這歌應該最為人熟知的是 fa la la la la la la la la 這唱段。怎麼了？開始有印象吧？
據維基百科，這首古老的威爾士抒情調於十六世紀由豎琴家 John Parry 譜成，直至1862年 John Thomas 編輯四段歌詞載入 Welsh Melodies，包括蘇格蘭音樂人 Thomas Oliphant 的英文歌詞，還有威爾士詩人 John Jones (Talhaiarn) 的威爾士詞版本。至於瑯瑯上口的 Fa la la la 的歌詞，一般認為是源於早期威爾士民謠，甚至有說法是源於中世紀民謠。不管怎樣，Fa la la la 這唱段現已成為本曲的標誌。（癡婦今年把本曲填入粵詞，教會了一大班學生唱這 Fa la la la 的聖誕歌呢。）

癡婦挺喜歡這可愛的小雪人，每年都總會在很多商場重遇這小雪人，而且總會讓我想起這段可愛的 Snowman 影片。（題外話：由於太喜歡這種小雪人故事，癡婦大概會找天把 Snowman 內的 Walking in the Air 獨立寫一篇長文。）
據維基百科，Walter Rollins 和 Steve Nelson 於1950年寫好，並由 Gene Autry 和 the Cass County Boys 錄音。（Gene Autry 前一年才因為 Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 紅鼻小鹿Rudolph 這首聖誕歌而走紅呢。）就像紅鼻小鹿一樣，這首小雪人也一樣廣被傳頌，甚至美國電視台 NBS 為其製作電視特輯呢。
據維基百科，這是傳統法國聖誕歌曲，最初是一首舞曲，並出自 Jehan Tabourot 所撰寫的舞蹈書籍《Bransle l’Ifficiale in the Orchésographie》。現時所流傳的歌詞則出自英國作曲家 George Ratcliffe Woodward 手筆，並於1924年收錄在其作品集《The Cambridge Carol-Book: Being Fifty-two Songs for Christmas, Easter, And Other Seasons》。
副曲歌詞「Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis」取材於二世紀開始流傳的拉丁禮文《榮歸主頌》。以下是劍橋大學國王學院合唱團的版本。

據維基百科，這也是一首傳統法國聖誕歌曲 Les Anges dans nos campagnes，作者不明。本曲曾被多人改編，現時最為廣傳的版本為 Edward Shippen Barnes 所編，調用 Gloria，所以歌詞同樣出現拉丁禮文「Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis」。至於英文歌詞則於1862年出現，由英國羅馬天主教會赫克瑟姆暨紐卡素教區主教 James Chadwick 翻譯而成。隨後在西方國家普及，並翻譯成多種語言版本。
順帶一提，副曲中的拉丁禮文「Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis」當中的 O 元音以裝飾音（Melisma）寫成，並呈現先上升，後下降的旋律，帶出天使歌聲高升、基督親降的意思。
以下是2014年締造的《健力士世界紀錄》合唱版本，成員包括 The Piano Guys 酷音樂團、Peter Hollens、David Archuleta、摩門教合唱團。沒翻譯錯的話，當時是破了「最多人數現場演出耶穌降生的故事」。（Largest Live Nativity World Record: 1039 people）
